Understanding KSBs
KSBs are the 3 things you’ll develop during an apprenticeship:
- knowledge is what you learn about the job
- skills are what you actually do
- behaviours are how you act at work, like working well with others
The point of KSBs is to help you become competent in your job and develop skills and confidence as an employee.
For your apprenticeship assessment, you’ll need to prove that you have gained the KSBs specific to your apprenticeship.
You can see a list of your KSBs in Your Apprenticeship app, or you can search for your apprenticeship on Skills England's apprenticeship finder to see KSBs and other information about your course.
You should speak with your training provider if you’re unclear about your KSBs.
